Fresh flowers and a jar of raspberry sauce--must be July! Already made raspberry vinaigrette, now what to put the sauce on--waffles? vanilla ice cream? brownies? Tough decisions await me.

Memorable Meals
September: Felt like I did more prepping of food for winter than cooking yummy meals....but there were a few good ones.
Labor day lasagnas with my sister and extended family-vegetable, pesto and traditional with sausage (veggie is the best)
Homemade pizza with the boys (Patrick's idea when he saw FRESH mozzarella in store)
First chili of the season--ground beef and black bean
Hogshead at our house--a tribute to Julia Child with Boeuf Bourguignon, potato leek soup, cheese and fruit course, salad with pears and figs, upside down apple tart with caramel sauce
August: the month of the TOMATO (with a few peaches thrown in)
August 2--Mexican Spread corn tortilla cheese quesidillas chipotle chicken with spinach and cream chicken in red-sauce with roasted potatoes and onions grilled chicken and zucchini poblano peppers roasted with local goat cheese
Week of 7/10-7/17/2009 Greek Feast at Hogshead hosted by Janice and Bill Loomis (keftka with tadziki, eggplant salad with feta, lamb shish-ka-bob, quail stuffed with feta.....)
SELMA Prep-dinner spinach bake with feta, greens with raspberry dressing, homemade bread with white cheese, cherries, blueberry sorbet
FRIDAYS @ Selma Blueberry bread pudding, peaches, bacon, baby orange tomatoes (there was tons more to choose from, but that's what I had)
